Experian Corporation

Tony leads Experian's federal and state legislative and regulatory programs relating to credit reporting, direct marketing, automotive solutions, e-commerce and privacy. Tony has been with Experian for seven years.

Tony manages a team of lobbyists who advocate in favor of public policies that benefit Experian and against those that would be harmful to our interests. His team monitors and responds to approximately 900 state and 75 federal proposals each year

Tony is responsible for leveraging Experian’s influence by representing the corporation on the government affairs working groups of a number of industry trade groups. These include the Consumer Data Industry Association, the American Financial Services Association, the Direct Marketing Association, The US Chamber of Commerce, the National Business Coalition on E-Commerce and Privacy, and the Internet Alliance.

Prior to joining Experian, Tony led the legislative and regulatory program for the Manufactured Housing Institute, a national trade association, focusing on housing finance, insurance and real estate development.

Tony has also worked as a press secretary and legislative assistant on Capitol Hill and was a Presidential Management Intern under the Reagan Administration. He has a BA in journalism and a Masters of Public Administration, both from the University of Montana.
